It works but, no controls are possible like- if we want to stop or pause or volume controls. And this only supports in PCs not even the advanced smart fones. So VB should come out with some better software interface.

Well… This is online streaming. It is not a song playing on the player which you can pause and
resume latter on. You can stop the playback using simple tricks or keys.
To stop the playback: Reload the tab or press F5 or kill the tab or press Control + w
To use volume Control : use dedicated volume keys on your laptop / keyboard
You should be happy for the online streaming for Vividh Bharti.

The stream line stops in middle audio is not relayed, we have to press again press play button, why so please rectify the problem and let VVBS entertain us contineosly,

Not working on ASUS transformer honeycoamd 3.2. I always liked VB but unfortunately the site is giving a very complicated way to listen to the radio. It should be user friendly. I see this station on android app called tune in radio but it is not working there. It is strange that someone needs password to listen to radio. Please be simple and improve your user interface. There are so many Indians in USA who wants to liisten to this station. This station has very important nostaligic significance. Please improve the user interface and include he station in tune-in radio. Thanks

I can never be sure about listening to online vividh bharthi. Now its there and later its not. There is no consistency in the streaming line. Just when one thinks that everything is fine, suddenly the streaming gets cut and then for days together one is left with no vividh bharthi.This is really painful. My situation is comparable to that of a child’s whose favorite past-time is denied to him.

My favourite programmes are/have been “Ujaaley Unki Yaadon Kay”, “Bioscope Ki Baatein” (not being aired any more), “Sargam Kay Sitaarey”, “Hamaarey Mehmaan”, “Binaca Geet Maala” (now extinct), “Bhoolay Bisray Geet”, all the interviews and radio shows conducted by the legendary, the greatest ever Compere of all times, the one and only – AMEEN SAAYANI, and all the programmes presented by another gifted announcer of our times, the one with a soulful, velvety voice – KAMAL SHARMA.
Listening to Vividh Bharti is always nostalgic for me, as it has been associated with umpteen sweet memories of my childhood and adolescence…my parents…my old, ancestral house…my old friends, who are no longer in touch with me…I still miss the radio shows that were broadcast in those days; like, “Modi Kay Matwaaley Raahi”, “Saridon Kay Saathi”, and so on!

Last Dec: i came across the links for live vividh bharati, it was like i got a valuable treasure. Listening to VB after 11 yrs!! It was like getting most important thing in my life.
Yes, the streaming is not consistant ,but i feel its better to have something than having nothing:-).
Since last 4 days the link is not working at all, will appreciate if u will fix the problem.

I have my doubts that this is not a genuine VBS streaming, it s a being streamed by some other then `Vividh Bharti.
Otherwise it will not ask form a password or stop fro days on end,Nor ay ones IP address will ever get blocked.

Main aap logon ka shukriya ada karna chahti hoon hamain yeh anmol khazana dene ke liye.
Mujhe patta nahin hai, ki yeh live streaming legal hai ya nahin, lekin, Mere liye toh yeh bahut bahut badi naimat hai.
Since last 2 weeks its working perfectly!! No complains, thank u very much for fixing it!

internet /email.

Mein 25 saal se Vividh Bharti Radio pe sunta aa raha tha. But unfortunately, from last few months, transmission of Vividh Bharti are not available on Radio in Distt. Khushab of Pakistan. I am disappointed. Responsible persons do something.

One of the best radio channels since i grew up , Vividh Bharati was a routine in our family. Had the best programme presenters with a good broadcasting voice and the knowledge and the command on the language. I am listening to VIVIDH BHARATI IN TORONTO,CANADA. Due to regular listening of the programme I learned how to host the programme AND I have been producing and hosting my own Radio Show for last 11years called SANGEET AT CJMR1320 AM FROM 2PM TO 3PM MONDAY TO FRIDAY.

Thanks a lot for bringing VB back to us. FM radio has killed music and FM gold is full of sarkari ads. But please do something about the technical part of the site. The stream is always broken. Cant listen it for more that 15 minutes at a stretch and once the stream breaks then it breaks every minute. But hey, thanks anyway and keep it up.

Follow these three step process and you should be fine after you are connected to the Internet:
1. goto the website: http://www.vividhbharti.org
2. click on the menu item “Live Radio – vividh bharti (in hindi). This is the third menu item after Home and Contact US.
3. You will be taken to the new page: Click on the link in blue color that says “vividh bharti …and in hindi..Desh ki surili dhadkan” (this link is below the title and menu in the middle of the page).
Let me know if it does not work via email.

I have a little reqest though. Is it possible to have the direct streaming link than the java scrit running the streaming for us? If we could get the streaming link, then users can listen to the stream using their favorite software like, winamp, vlc, windows media player, etc.

Hi every one at Vividh Bharti , All of you are doing a fine job keeping us NRI entertained at all the times I listen to you when i am relaxing in bed , The music is so good it makes me go to sleep.
