In 1959 when we had our first HMV (His Master’s Voice) radio, I was 11 years old and in 6th grade, in Jodhpur. Now I am 69 years old, retired, living in USA. Yet, many vivid memories still echo inside me, like from yesterday. Getting ready for school, eating breakfast was so tied together with the Signature Tune of All India Radio, Bhoole Bisre Geet, Jaya Maala, Hawa Mahal, Lahren…
I still remember, one evening on Hawa Mahal, they were playing, Rabindra Nath Taigore’s “Rakta Kaner”. The title song for Lahren – “Lahar lahar lahraaye manva, yeh lahron ka mela, yeh lehron ka mela haan ji, yeh lehron ka mela”, or, if I remember correctly, every Sunday, there was a program that had its title song which went like – “Priye jala kar aag, ghaas ke paas, baith kar gap shap ho jaaye, (male voice), Zaraa yeh munna so jaaye (female voice). This was all way before, Bharatiya Chitra Darshan was introduced on Television.
Wish, I had a Time Machine, and I could travel back in time !!!

The 102.8 frequency is not clear . We r not getting clear and crispy sound . Pls look into a do the needful.
